If there were rentable gaming PCs with all the games pre-installed, I'd definitely pay some cash to rent one instead of using the craptop.
Not sure how profitable it'd be though. |

It isn't expensive to get a capable PC - then you can actually enjoy games!
£500 at most? _________________ The DK P45-T2RS "...will fine tune your current system to the limit performance, which's in a blink of eyes"

£500 without peripherals is doable, but that's a reasonable chunk of money. _________________ Q9450 || Asus Rampage X48 || 8 Gig PC2-8500

Thought about it before, but then realised it's going beyond FragSoc's remit really. If there was a massive demand for it, maybe, but... for the time being FragSoc is le organiser and people come and play games .
It was quite cheap, too. You can get the essentials together for less than £500 easily, if you don't care about the best system in the world evar. _________________ Dreaming

Just so you are aware, our week 8 event is a kind of practice big event. You're still welcome to come (though an idea of numbers would be nice ) but we're doing a 'proper' big one and spamming all the universities everywhere either next term or next year, with capacity for 200+. L/N/028 has capacity for about 80, and seeing at FragSoc we don't normally get much more than 50 these days there should be ample space for visitors. _________________ Dreaming

| Sounds like awesomesauce. I got alot of mates from Teeside uni who are into gaming and I think that can be generalized for most Teeside students so they may be worth an invite. Finally, 5on5 css! Been waiting an age! If anyone is interested in forming a team for that lemme know, I've got clan experience and would be able to organise practice sessions etc. bit early I know but whatever... oh and tbh I'd say Zero Hour over Kane's Wrath - but that's up to y'all. |

| I like YorkLAN and FLAN. They're both easy to remember and pronounce. YorkLAN is good because it's obvious, FLAN is good because it's original and slightly more personal. |
